Joseph J. Guarino, III, joined Mangano Law Offices as an associate in June 2008. Prior to joining the firm, he spent three years working with a law firm in Toledo, Ohio, representing various labor unions and associated entities in the building and construction trades. He has experience in representing employees in all employment related matters and has successfully represented clients in administrative proceedings, such as before the National Labor Relations Board and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, and in civil litigation before both state and federal courts.


Mr. Guarino is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Ohio, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo College of Law, where he served as Lead Articles Editor of the University of Toledo Law Review and received awards such as the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Youngstown State University in 2001, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and graduated summa cum laude.


Mr. Guarino focuses his practice on traditional labor law, prevailing wages and employee benefit plan issues.
